Every language file downloaded from our web site can be installed with the Joomla! installer. That's it - just two clicks. 
Today I noticed two extensions in JED listed as GPL. These were also listed as commercial (which is fine), however after checking the developers web sites, I noticed that the information there conflicts with the main principles of GPL. While other bloggers may not disclose the extensions and the developers, I will do it. I will do it as it is not correct to lie your customers.
I am pretty sure the JED team is taking care responsibly about such issues and they are not able to track all of the extensions and their licenses however I reported one of these extensions weeks ago and nothing changed.
So which are the extensions:
Jobs - it is developed by InstantPHP. In JED it is stated as GPL, however, here are extracts from the developer's web site:
Limited Use Granted
You may use each individual product on a maximum of one (1) websites only, belonging to either you or your client. You have to purchase the same extension again in order to use it for more than 1 websites.
Unauthorized Use
You may not place any of our products, modified or unmodified, on a diskette, CD, website or any other medium and offer them for redistribution or resale of any kind without prior written consent from Instant Php.
Well, it is more than obvious that the developer either does not understand the GPL or is using JED as a promotion tool by misleading the customers. See the exact terms of InstantPHP.

The other extension is JomSocial Multiple Profile Types. It is developed by JoomlaXI. It is also listed as GPL in JED, however see what's written in the developer web site:
This component can be purchased as
- Basic subscription : $ 40. For 1 website.
- Silver subscription : $ 90, For 3 websites.
- Gold subscription : $ 120, For 5 websites.
While it might be the case that this subscription is for support, but you know that this is not what the developer means.
